Passirio/Passer gorge The path that leads to Passirio/Passer gorge begins in St. Leonhard village centre and takes you through the sports zone towards Gomion. At the end of this path, cross the bridge and continue almost all the way to Moos on the left bank of the Passirio/Passer river. Passing rocky giants and sections of forest, the path meanders directly along the riverbank, where the river flows calmly through stunning pools and over rocks carved by the water into magnificent shapes.
After passing the old Gomion power station, the path crosses the Saldern river, passes by steep rocky slopes, and then winds its way upwards for about 200 metres. From there, the view sweeps over the rock faces below Stuls, where several impressive waterfalls can be found, including the third highest in Europe. As you continue your walk, you can admire extraordinary water features and rock formations until the path arrives at the bridge over the dam and leads up the old road towards Moos.
