Where is the Val Passiria/Passeiertal valley and Hotel Pfeldererhof?

If you’re arriving from the south, take the A22 Brenner motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit. Next, follow the “MeBo” (Merano-Bolzano) expressway towards Merano and take the exit for Val Passiria/Passeiertal. From there, follow the signs for Moos in Passeier, passing through the villages of Riffian, Saltaus, St. Martin, and St. Leonhard in Passeier. When you arrive in Moos in Passeier, enter the address of our hotel into your navigation device.

If you’re travelling from the north (Austria or Germany), take the A22 motorway and exit at Sterzing. From there, follow the signs to the Passo Giovo/Jaufen pass and then to Val Passiria/Passeiertal. Bear in mind that the Passo Giovo/Jaufen pass is located at 2,000 metres above sea level and has some winding, narrow sections, so it is not recommended in bad weather. It’s also closed from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. in winter. In this case, continue following the A22 Brenner motorway southwards until you reach the Bolzano Sud exit. Then, take the “MeBo” (Merano-Bolzano) expressway towards Merano and follow the directions provided above to reach Pfelders in the Val Passiria/Passeiertal valley. 

Take the train to Merano train station, where there are frequent bus connections that will bring you to Moos in Passeier. From there, you can take a local bus or taxi to Pfelders.

The nearest airports are in Bolzano, Verona, Bergamo, Milan, and Innsbruck. From Bolzano airport, you can take the train or bus to Merano and then follow the above directions to Pfelders.
